He enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults to improve communication, repair relationships, discover healthy coping skills, and much more. Steven has gained a lot of experience in his young career, ranging from working with inmates at Green Lake County jail, working in outpatient, working with families and individuals for Jefferson County, as well as working in a homeless shelter. He is passionate about helping adults break through generational traumas, helping children and adolescents reach their full potential, and helping couples overcome relationship hardships. He emphasizes creating a safe space where patients can be themselves.

He uses a variety of approaches such as trauma informed care, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), strength-based approach, brainspotting, and positive psychology. He continues to grow by seeking out professional development activities and staying up to date with new research findings to best help the people whom come to work with him.
